So Long,

As I bent over to hear him,
It seemed like he went dim,
The light in his tan face
seemed to be disgrace.

His lips were dry,
and in between he let out sighs,
He said his last word,
and i heard.

His pillow sank and he lied still,
It was a thrill,
"Johnny!" Dally yelled,
I had withheld my tears,
too many fears.

Dally ran out,
I stayed there without doubt,
Johnny is gone
My friend, so long.

You Will Be Missed.
